- What are BFS and CFS?

BFS and CFS are both different types of task schedulers used by the Linux kernel. CFS (Completely Fair Scheduler) is the default scheduler in the majority of distributions, however it isn’t though to be great. I won’t go into the details, however being relatively old it has built up quite a lot of bulk and the algorithms used are rather complicated.

BFS (Brain Fuck Scheduler) is the new kid on the block. It was written in 2007 after the author became annoyed with the random stalls experienced while using a Linux-based desktop machine. The scheduler is designed to offer low latency when used interactively, for example on a desktop machine, or a phone!

- What mean vsync off?

Vertical Sync (VSync) - An option which forces the 3D app to match the framerate to the refresh rate of the lcd and gpu. Vsync off get 3/4 fps more

Установка:

1. Скачиваем архивы (один на выбор) Venice-v4.0-BFS.zip, Venice-v4.0-BFS-vsync-off.zip, Venice-v4.0-CFS.zip, Venice-v4.0-CFS-vsyn-off.zip

2. Кидаем его в корень SD карты.

3. Перезагружаем телефон в режиме Recovery.

4. Нажимаем flash zip menu, потом flash zip from sdcard.

5. Выбираем скачанный вами архив и ждем окончания установки.

6. Делаем wipe cache, wipe dalvik-cache, wipe batterystats (делается при заряде батареи на 100%).

7. Возвращаемся в главное меню и перезагружаем телефон - reboot system now.
